I started The Fidget Quilt Project in 2012.  This project is near and dear to my heart.  I had a fidget quilt made for my dad, who suffered from Alzheimer’s Disease, and I witnessed firsthand the benefits of the quilt.   I hope to be able to share the benefits of these quilts across the nation and beyond.  This project has contributors as far away as Nepal.

What is a fidget quilt?  A small quilt made with different textured cloths and often adorned with buttons, zippers, or other objects to help busy the nervous hands of an Alzheimer’s or dementia patient.

Each quilt is $70, which includes shipping within the United States. A portion of all proceeds will go to the Sunflower Memories CareGiver Fund, which provides respite for caregivers of dementia patients.
